We had a chance to work with the BNQT.com central intelligence agency to find out what some of the industry leaders' reactions to Rally America announcing a three event rally cross series in 2010. Here's what they said.
James Han
Motorsports Marketing Manager
Subaru of America, Inc.
"It's heartening to see rally car racing gaining traction within the enthusiast community as evidenced by Rally America's recent rally cross announcement. With this new development, rallying in the U.S. is evolving into a more spectator and competitor accessible sport given any number of venues which can incorporate this activity. As much as Subaru is the dominant manufacturer in the Rally America series, it's becoming increasingly attractive for car makers to consider a foray in support of a 2WD, 4WD or AWD program. Subaru would certainly welcome competition from other makes."
Matthew Johnson
Rally Driver
"I m stoked on the new rally cross developments. Rally is king to me and always will be but we can only ignore it s packaging problems for so long. With rally cross we can use a tried and true packaging process that works for most types of racing with the flair of rallying thrown in and some great personalities from our corner of the woods! We can also have more fan interactions which our sponsors will love! Bring it on!"

Partner - Fuse Marketing
Rally America is making a great move expanding its offerings with the new rally cross format. The format is a great way to bring new fans and sponsors into the sport and I am excited to see it all come to life next fall.
